This has always been my nemesis.
As I am a person who gets bored easily, I find myself saying yes to everything as I would rather make a mistake than not know what might have been. It leads to a very eclectic lifestyle, but is also distracting when trying to achieve a set goal.
This week I was feeling low and needed an energy boost, so what better way than going and watching the Best platform sales speaker in the world perform his magic. The person I am referring to is the one and only #JTFoxx
He is a salesman of the highest level and can generate a room full of energy that I have never experienced before. Not that what he is selling is for me, but if I was in the market I would have bought his program. I know the system these speakers use very well. It is very simple and not unlike that you would use for Stand-up comedy. Build the tension, release the tension.
I sat in the aisle seat for the day to just absorb his energy and get a full view of the show and left there full of energy and inspiration to continue writing my latest book.
But most importantly, the message I picked up is DISCIPLINE!
Though I have always had the Desire to complete my goals, I can see that #JTFoxx shows the discipline to be very successful.
He arrived late for the seminar, due to a late airline flight, yet this didn't phase him at all. If anything he went twice as hard, which was fantastic as I got to absorb twice as much of his energy. But even though he was giving so much, in the end you could see that it all came down to the bottom dollar which I think would have lined his pockets nicely at the end of the day. And not once did he deny this, which showed a form of arrogance which is ignited from a massive amount of confidence and discipline.
There was a moment there when I was pointed out for not taking notes, but unknown to him was that it was his energy I was after and not his information, though the message of DISCIPLINE did shine through and I appreciated that very much.
At the end of the day, I tried to show my appreciation to him and sign copies of my books to give to him, but unfortunately the real arrogance showed as he wouldn't even take them from my hands. Because I was not buying from him, his true colours showed themselves. He told to just place them behind the table on his suitcase and he would deal with them later. So I think the cleaners of the bins may have scored copies of my books that day. I know that he was busy with his potential clients, but this character trait of demeaning people that don't go along with him can give off an impression of immaturity.
Remember this is only my observation of an experience, not a characterisation of the man as a whole. As I got totally what I had came for, and got it for free, I would have liked for him to accept an exchange of energy as a gift.
But all that aside, I have two messages today;
Firstly if you want an energy boost in your life go and see J T Foxx speak, and you will find yourself leaving the room full of very positive energy. Remember to direct to your project or goal straight away as it will dissipate within a few days.
Secondly.... DISCIPLINE! This is the key to achieving your goals. Don't be a Marty and say yes to every invitation that comes along as it only creates procrastination.
So if you wish to get to know Mr J T Foxx the #1 platform salesman in the world, this is his Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/jtfoxx
Now it's time to get to work.. Chapter 2 is halfway there........
Chapter 1: It's in the Can
After starting to write the third volume in the series a week ago, it has been a week of distractions and procrastination. But today I was determined to break the paradigms I have created for myself. This morning I had to catch up on a lot of paperwork, as I am too cheap to hire a book keeper, or just untrusting of anyone doing it as well as I can.
So once I got the odious tasks out of the way, I had something to eat, then shut all the curtains, turned on the air conditioner and got into the zone.
A beautiful four hours of living within my imagination and putting it into words on the page. Just under 2000 words later, Chapter One was done.
Stay tuned for updates, and if anyone has interest in a pre-order please message me and I will start a list.
Have an Awesome Life
I know it has been sometime since I posted a blog and I need to create the habit of doing it more often. But today the writing process has begun and Volume 3 of the 'Angel in a Demons Cloak' is underway.
The story will continue from where Volume 2 'Stolen Children' left as the crew fight on to challenge the evil and tyranny of the secret societies in this world. I still have some paperback versions of the first two books, so if you wish to purchase them, you can either go to the book store on my website, the Facebook page or just message me and I will be in touch.
I will try a little more diligently to keep you all informed, and you can now subscribe to my website to keep up to date with what is happening. I will leave a link below if you wish to get my stories on eBook.
Peace and Prosperity to you all.
Please hit the like button for my website if it is not too much trouble. Thank you.

Don't need the DeLorean to travel through time, Marty McFly.
While visiting England recently, I was given the opportunity to be driven around in my cousins DeLorean. Now with a name like Marty, I couldn't help but quote lines from the movie 'Back to the Future'. This car is not only a classic, but it is also fitted with it's own 'Flux Capacitor'
As we drove through the streets of Dereham in Norwich, we would receive a lot of interesting looks and also comments about the car and the movie. Luckily my cousin Carl, was quite the showman as he has owned the DeLoren for some time and knows the movies off by heart, so he thrives on the conversation.
Now I am one to over analyse most things in life, which can be a good thing in making good decisions, but some topics it can just do your head in. Especially when the subject is Time Travel. But yet we all do it. As I was sitting on the airplane flying from the UK to Australia, I was killing some time reading my recent itinerary, when I realised that I was flying into the second night time of the journey, and that I would also see a second sunrise in the matter of 24hrs. So in one day, I saw two day times and two nights, which means I am a day ahead of time. So I have travelled through time.
Just to give you an idea how I came to this conclusion, I will now show you the math.
I left London airport at 10pm on the 17th
I arrived at Brisbane airport at 7am on the 19th
A total of 33hrs
I spent 20hrs in flight and 2hrs at Dubai airport
A total of 22hrs
So this puts me 11hrs into the future
Before anyone wishes to jump on me with the logic of; "Well you did going the other way and it makes it all even."
That just means that I travelled through time, TWICE
Yes that's right, I firstly travelled back in time, then I travelled forward in time.
How cool is that. We have all been travelling through time for years.
Now I am off to spend some time, wasting time, before time catches up to me.
Have an Awesome day and leave your comments below.
My Egyptian Journey
The streets are strewn with litter, Stray cats and dogs scavenge through the rubbish looking for any nourishment they can find. Many people wander aimlessly, begging or bartering just to feed themselves.
They pray to a God that for thousands of years has forsaken them to a desert land, and treats them with descent. Their rules are archaic as they swindle and hustle the tourists of opulence who swoon over their ancient ruins, and then return to their five star hotels.
Law and order is paramount to this new strong government who dictates it's rule, yet all his minions can be bought with a a slight of hand and a palm filled with cash.
The ruins are not so much the relics of history, but in the hearts of the poor and down trodden, they are a source of income. Yet the only ones to get rich from this are the pimps who send the young to entice you into their world. They will tell you stories of family and friends that live in the same place you come from, as to create a bond and make you feel more secure.
The roads are paved with dirt, the lanes are totally ignored, indicators never used, yet the sound of the car horns echo through the city from the moment the sun rises and well into the night.
I see people living without hope or dreams and only continuing on a daily journey of reaching toward tomorrow. I see teenagers in uniform, who have broken from the norm, yet to only sit outside tourist attractions holding high powered weapons. Their only job is stop the beggars and hustlers from approaching the tourists ho bring in the money for the support of government corruption.
I myself was prey to these predators, not so much as a pawn in their game, but as a deliberate observer who was willing to pay to gain the knowledge of how they construct their web of deceit. They thought I was not aware of their charade, yet I was manipulating, and possibly encouraging them as so I could create my story.
The dirt, the dust, the smog, the litter. There is no distinction of clean living areas outside the resorts. New Cairo is merely apartment blocks that look like Lego towers built by a child. If you have glass in your window frames, then you are considered more fortunate than most. The bricks lack mortar between them and the buildings look like they will collapse if a healthy gust of wind were to blow. Old Cairo is falling apart on a daily basis. Buildings disintegrating at a rapid pace with insecure fences wrapped around them to try and keep people away from possible danger.
I hired a guide to take me through the back streets of Cairo, to explore the things that most tourists would ever want to see. He locks his doors as for even he feels uncomfortable in these areas. I see an old woman sitting in the filth on the side of the road as traffic comes to a standstill. I put my hand in my pocket to pull out five pounds, but my guide puts his hand up and says "No!"
He then follows up to let me know that if I were to get out of the car to hand it to her, I would then have the whole street pounce on me and take everything I have, including my clothes and shoes. It made a lot of sense as from the moment I arrived, I have been offered alcohol, hashish women and even a child, after rejecting all the others.
This seems surreal in the moment, but it is amazing how quickly you get desensitised to it all when these bizarre offers come at you on a regular basis. I am not sure whether I should publish before leaving the country, but it's the thrill of the bravado that has brought me to this point anyway.
In the resort last night I watched a Christian wedding and the bride was a picture of beauty. Her wedding party was also looking amazing, and when I asked why it was in a tourist resort, the response was purely about safety. The Christian community is a minority in this country, yet they all seemed to be employed. This is not a comment or opinion, yet merely an observation, so make of it what you will.
I am a Godless man, and I will never bow to the concept or rule of another mans imagination. This sometimes gets me in trouble with the populous, but I don't mind, it can create some interesting debate and lose some people in your life that are probably better of not there anyway. Also by not be driven by others, I get to create adventures such as this one. It has been an amazing journey for my own spiritual being, and an experience I recommend to anyone who wants to feel and touch some of the worlds oldest history.
I would suggest that you go with either friends or a tour group as the locals are well trained to spot people who are on their own.
So as an experience in Culture and History.... Five Stars
As a place where you can feel 100% safe and free of harassment..... One Star
How to Cure Humanity
Religion and it's people believe that their relative God will save humanity.
Hippies and Spiritualists believe Love will cure societies problems.
Capitalists believe Money will buy Peace on Earth.
I believe RESPECT will be what conquers all the ills on this beautiful planet.
When we all just respect each other for being the humans that we individually are, then that is when we will be in a position to make the changes necessary to have the harmony that we are all looking for. Many people may say that I am a dreamer, but is it such a bad dream to have. If all of us are willing to take that leap of faith, things will improve. But it is all about taking ACTION. That means you must start showing respect from today.
Many different factions in society will tell you that their beliefs are the answer to this question, yet their actions show me something different. I fully appreciate that religious people have been brain washed by the lies earlier societies have written in their literature that is totally irrelevant in 2016. Then there is the moronic new age spiritualists who believe just by saying love will conquer all is going to make things change are nothing short of being delusional, as they isolate themselves and show no respect to the diversity of the populous. These people have their heads so far in the clouds, that they have lost touch with the world as a whole.
Then there is the females that preach that they want to empower women only. How sexist is that. Empower PEOPLE you idiots. We have live in a world of sexual division for long enough. All you doing is what men have been doing since time began. What you are promoting is shameful, if you wish to help, then help all gender descriptions otherwise you are not helping at all.
Now my next target is Patriots, or Nationalists or just plain ignorant Red Necks. To think promoting hatred toward toward anyone or anything is the most ignorant thought process you can ever conceive. To believe more guns are the answer has got to be the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard.
So this is my cure for Humanity
RESPECT every person you come into contact with every day.
The bus driver who takes you to work or school, the shop assistant who sells you your coffee or soft drink, the waiter who serves you your meal.
SMILE at every person who crosses your path, whether it be in the street, in the supermarket, or at the train station. If you want to take it a step further, say HELLO
HELP someone who is struggling. Whether that be an older person putting their shopping into the car, a tourist looking lost, or a family finding hard to feed and clothe their children. A loaf of bread and bottle of milk is more appreciated than throwing $20 at them.
RESPECT, SMILE and HELP
These are the ACTIONS that will cure humanity.
So stop preaching the crap that you do, and DO!
I look forward to your comments as I am one who believes my actions are what defines me, but I am willing to confront anyone who would like to discuss this logic and reason.

This is a Wonderful event that I will be hosting to raise money and awareness for children suffering with cancer. This is a non discriminate disease that doesn't just affect the patient, but also takes it toll on all those around them.

Health & Fitness... Fake or Fiction
The mystery of Health and Fitness has me at a loss sometimes. Depending on who you talk to at any given time, the information you receive varies from sand to snow. Now I am sure that each individual totally believes in what they are saying and they are not being misleading at all. But my question is that maybe the source of the data they receive may not not be as genuine.
Eat more, Eat less. Workout more, Workout less. Run more, Run less. Get a personal trainer and they will cater to all your needs. These are all valid points which brings to a conclusion, that I, and only I have acquired is that only YOUR BODY can really tell you want it is that it needs.
This is not to say don't listen to others, because of course you have to, to ascertain the information that is going to be right for your body. You need to absorb all the advice that comes your way and pick at it like you would a chicken carcass to get all the best bits.
I have recently joined a gym and started a new exercise regime, and fortunately for me I have a lot of friends who are offering fantastic advice, but from one person to another there are many contradictions. Then there are the so professionals who add to the fray and medical practitioners who I frankly have no time for in this day and age, as they all seem to be scared they are going to say the wrong thing.
So this is my advice for you:
1. Educate yourself before you start on the various diets that are available to you. Put them all in front of you and when your mind and body says; "Yes! I think I can do that one" Then choose that one and don't second guess yourself.
2. When starting out with any exercise, only push yourself to the limit of where your body is starting to tell you hurts. If an instructor says to do 10-12 reps, and you can only do 8. Then only do 8. Professional athletes push the boundaries of pain only because they wish to become elite in their chosen field. If your choice is to become an elite physical being, then so be it. But don't hurt yourself because someone else says it's a good, because obviously your body is telling you otherwise.
3. If you go to a gym, NEVER be ashamed of who you and what you look like. When I was younger, I had a body of an Adonis. I may have looked good, but in all honesty, may have been a very judgemental young man. Now I look in the mirror and see a pork barrel sitting on the weights bench. But at least I know now that I treat everyone I meet with the same dignity I give myself. There are some people who have the athletic body, then there are the real people who have bared three children, or worked every day of their life and enjoyed a few beers. Regardless of how long it takes, or how many times you fall off the wagon. If you are trying to improve yourself and your lifestyle, you don't have to achieve the "perfect body" because you are already in it.
4. LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!!!
This is so important. If you feel you need to take a break or have a day off.. DO IT!
There is a saying "No Pain, No Gain" and metaphorically this is true. But physically, especially with the older generations of 30+, if you hurt yourself, it will take longer to heal. It's a fact of life unfortunately.
5. ENJOY WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!!
If you find that you feel you have to force yourself to certain things, then don't do it.
If your routines become boring, then mix it up.
Find a process that resonates with your mind as well as your body, because honestly, I hate doing sit ups, and I hate running (bad knees), so I have searched various ways to get the same outcome for my legs and waist that I enjoy doing. It may take a little longer to get the same result.
So I hope I have shed some insight into my views of Health and Fitness, and I hope you get enjoyment in your journey to wherever or whatever it is you wish to achieve.
Now I am calling my blog "Mixing it with Marty" because I am actually inviting you to make comment and create discussion. This is an avenue for all of us to learn. I will respond to all sane references, but will just ignore the dumb stuff. So please join in.
